The Galeazzi Ensemble has a wealth of experience performing in period costume, working with the two leading historical interpretation companies in the country, Past Pleasures Ltd and JMD & Co. This includes many performances at the Royal Palaces, particularly Hampton Court Palace, several week-long festivals in Tunbridge Wells, events at numerous stately homes and documentary dramatisations for television.

 

Our work in costume has often included performing in character alongside actors in improvisational portrayals of both real and fictitious historical events.

 

The costumes we have used have always been of the highest quality (some bespoke) and historical accuracy, provided by Past Pleasures Ltd, JMD & Co, Angels & Burmans or the BBC.
